Dear Anyone,
Just under a year ago, I left a very abusive relationship of 11.5 years. We were both mean to one another. There were drug addictions, alcohol abuse, mental abuse and occasionally some pushing and shoving. We have two kids together, but I finally left. Anyway, 3 months after I met an awesome guy, good job, nice car, nice house and just fantastic all around. My question is why, after all this time, I cannot find it in me to get close to him? I refuse to allow myself to talk about my past, I have never cried in front of him, as far as he is concerned I am one happy chick! What do I do? Wait, and hope I fall in love, or cut the poor guy loose?
