Dear Anyone,

What's protocol for asking someone out while they are working? For example, there is someone at a shop that I frequent, and I am really attracted to this person and enjoy the short conversations we have together every other day.

Trouble is, we only see each other when she is working, surrounded by co-workers and other customers, so I'm reluctant to pop the question (to steal a phrase) about a date in front of her as it might cause us both embarassment regardless of the outcome.

What's the best way to approach this?

	A:	Say it discretly, the person will be flattered regardless of who is around
	B:	Leave it. If you're only seeing them at work, you're not getting a true representation.
	C:	Think outside the box. A subtle note/letter passed across the counter can work wonders. It can say what you want to say without causing a scene
	D:	Put on some big show in the store complete with flowers, music and chocolate.
