Would you marry a girl/guy who had sex with your best friend?

I had sex with my boyfriend's friend about a year before I started dating my boyfriend. I did not know my boyfriend at the time. We have been dating for a little over two years. Whenever someone asks when we are getting married whether the question was said seriously or jokingly, my boyfriend always replies I could never marry her because of MATT. Would all other people have a problem with this? Keep in mind he knew about this situation before we started dating so it came as no surprise.
