Dear Anyone,

I'm 16 and my boyfriend's stepmother doesn't like me. She's never admitted to it, but I get a bad vibe from her when we're in the same room. She is extremely strict with my boyfriend. We've been together for 2 and a half years, and I think she should have some respect for us by now, but she doesn't. She doesn't like him being alone with me, whether it's having his bedroom door shut while I'm in there or us being home alone together. She knows we are having sex and doesn't seem to object to it. He is allowed to come to my house but she hardly ever lets me visit, which means we have to go behind her back. She treats me very differently from my boyfriend's other friends. I am more sensible and responsible than mostly all his friends (not kidding!) and yet I'm still treated like a random tramp he dragged home while drunk. I've told my boyfriend how I feel and he agrees, but there's nothing he can really do about it. I am getting really annoyed by it cause I don't get to see my boyfriend outside of school very often. His dad is fine with me coming over, etc.

WHAT'S YOUR ADVICE?

Vote for Option A
A:  Tell the stepmother exactly what you think. You have to take her on, girl.
Vote for Option B
B:  Put up with it until you can both leave home, and then you won't have to deal with her again!
Vote for Option C
C:  Get your boyfriend to tell her what you think. It's his job to deal with issues with his family.
Vote for Option D
D:  Grin and bear it--all step-parents are from hell. Haven't you seen Cinderella?
