Dear Anyone,

I've known this guy for 3 years. When we first met, I was instantly infatuated with him. Since then, instead of pursuing a relationship, we became friends. Soon after, the feelings of love were almost non-existent. Recently, on his suggestion, we were intimate. Afterwards, he fell asleep in my bed and didn't leave until the morning. The original agreement was for us to stay friends, no more no less, no strings attached. But I must admit that those feelings that I thought were non-existent have come back very strongly. We've crossed that "forbidden" line that friends don't cross. He's already stated that he leaves for college out of state in August. I've called him on the phone and told him bluntly how I've felt and he just doesn't "get it." He thinks I'm in love with him because we had sex. The thing is, I don't associate love with sex. I can't help the way I feel, but he seems blind to me. There's no difference in the way he feels or acts towards me. I'm lost. Is there anything I can do to make him even think of a relationship with me?

Insanely in Love with a Friend in Washington

WHAT'S YOUR ADVICE?

Vote for Option A
A:  Try to ignore your feelings and just hang out as friends. If he's not giving you more, asking for more is useless.
Vote for Option B
B:  Cut him out of your life for a while. If you are "insanely in love," but your love is unrequited, you need time to lick your wounds.
Vote for Option C
C:  Tell him how you feel again... and again, and again, and again until he either "gets it" or tells you to get lost.
Vote for Option D
D:  Propose another "no strings attached" intimacy session. If you can't get the love, you can at least get the fun.
