Dear Anyone,

I'm in my mid-late 30s, involved with a 30 yr. old man who separated from a long term relationship 2 months before we got involved. His extended family & ex are out of our city and he regularly attends family gatherings alone. Until recently, I had no way of contacting him, nor did he call while he was away. Curiously, he's been unable to maintain an active cell phone due to lack of finances, although his roommate has a cell phone, but he rarely calls. We're both students and see each other when I visit on the weekend. My insistence is his motivation to find a job, but it works. His seemingly secretive and carefree manner worries me. We've talked about these things, but the lone disappearances Otherwise, he is wonderful, caring, and attentive to me like no other. He says he loves me as intensely as I love him. Do I have a reason to fret?

Incredibly In Love, but Worried
