Dear Anyone,

I am a 59 year old married man. My wife's parents live about 6 hours from us. Her 86 year old Dad has terminal cancer and probably won't live another 6 months. She is terribly worried about her Mother naturally and wants to be closer to her. Her Mother does not like part of the country we live in, and wants to stay where she is after her husband passes. My wife's two siblings live in other states so they can't help and she is wanting me to find a job closer to where she is and move at this stage of our lives. Only assets we have is couple thousand $$ in savings and equity in house we own which we'd have to sell..Any opinions on this situation

Totally at a loss
