Dear Anyone,

I've been seeing a man exclusively for 8 months. He had been struggling financially and I have been helping with food, gas, picking up kids, loans of money, etc. Things have turned around considerably financially for him and he wants to get married. Today he said that if we got married "his kids" (and him) would like us to buy a house together, 50/50, (something about "security") though he'd be capable of buying a house on his own. I'm feeling offended because I'm directly responsible for things turning around for him. Should I be offended? I already have a gorgeous house he could move into, but I'm mostly offended that he seems to have real money "issues," that either he doesn't trust me, or that he is just out for himself. What do you say? How would you feel? What would you do?
