Dear Anyone,

This girl and I have been friends for about a year now, and we have come to realize that we like each other more than friends. I guess she liked me more than a friend before I even knew. Then because of our friendship, she convinced herself not to let her feelings get in the way. We had one little "romantic moment" but we just kind of laughed it off and continued being friends. I recently told her that I have stronger feelings for her, which she was unaware of, and that is when she told me she had those feelings before about me, but had talked herself out of it. We also work together and share many of the same friends, so after I told her of my feelings, she said it is just better to be friends in case it does not work out. I agreed because she is a great person and I would not want to lose touch with her. The problem is that I cannot convince myself out of my feelings like she could. She said if our circumstances were different, then we would be together. But things are the way they are so she said it is too dangerous.
