Dear Anyone,

Hey everyone. I'm 13 and I like this girl. I've liked her since 1st grade and I really want to go out with her badly. We live right near each other and were really close 'til 5th grade. We even kinda sorta went on a date in 5th grade. Nothing serious, though. Now that we're in 8th grade, other new guys like her, especially one really preppy guy who really ticks me off. Anyway, I don't think I have a chance with her 'cause she's smarter and more popular than me. Don't get me wrong. I am popular and have a lot of friends (and I'm also afraid my frends won't like me for going out with her cause I always denied liking her), but I'm not sure if I can be rejected and I don't want to tick off the bigger preppier bully kid by asking her out. I really like this girl. Please help me.
