Dear Anyone,

I work in a small office with ten people, and the boss has a cat that he lets run around the office. He absolutely adores the cat, and when he's out of the office, he gets the secretary to put him on speaker phone so he can coo at the cat. I'm normally OK with pets, but I think it's unprofessional to have a cat running around. Clients think it's weird, and there's cat hair all over the furniture. No one cleans it up. And to top it all off, the cat has a means streak and scratches. Should I say something or is this a lost cause?

WHAT'S YOUR ADVICE?

Vote for Option A
A:  Unless the cat is interfering with your work, keep quiet. There's no way you're going to win this battle.
Vote for Option B
B:  Ask around to see if anyone else feels the same way. You might have a chance if everyone takes on the boss together.
Vote for Option C
C:  Send an anonymous email pretending to be a client complaining about the cat. If your boss thinks he's losing business, he might lose the kitty.
Vote for Option D
D:  At the very least, get your boss to buy some sticky pet hair rollers. Having the cat is fine; not cleaning its hair is disgusting.
