Dear Anyone,

Being an only child, who lives with her father, and her father only, it's hard to talk to him about some things. Lately, I've wanted to talk to him about boys, but because of my mother only being 14 when I was born he doesn't trust me; and that really isn't fair, but I don't really want to get grounded again. But I feel like I've grown up and matured a lot, and that I'm nothing like my mom. I don't want children until I'm out of college, and I'm definitely not dropping out of high school. What should I do? Should I talk to him about it, and see what he says or just drop it, and forget about it until I'm way older.

WHAT'S YOUR ADVICE?

Vote for Option A
A:  Just give it up, he's not going to say yes. Dads don't really enjoy watching their little girls dating.
Vote for Option B
B:  Talk to him. At least see what he says. The worst thing that will happen is that you'll be grounded.
Vote for Option C
C:  Write him a letter, about how you've matured, and how you feel.
Vote for Option D
D:  Talk to him about trusting you FIRST, and then discuss dating.
