Dear Anyone,
I met a man recently that I enjoy spending time with. I’m a divorcee, and meeting single, intelligent and attractive men in their 50s is really quite a tall task. “Jim” was perfect in every way – until I saw him naked. He’s as hairy as an ape! I don’t want to sound mean-spirited, but he really is covered head to toe in thick, dense hair. We started dating in the winter, and he was always wearing turtlenecks and high-collars, so I could never really tell. He was always clean-shaven too. I suppose his hands were a bit hairy, but that’s not always a reliable indicator. I really like Jim in every way, except for all his hair.
The worst part was that he asked me whether I liked body hair or not, and I said no. He seemed really hurt, and the physical stuff ended right there, and he went home. He hasn’t called me in a week, and I don’t know if I should call him myself. I’d like to give things a try with Jim, but if I’m being honest, I know that I might not get past my aversion to body hair. I don’t want to coax Jim back into my life, only to hurt him again. What should I do?
